We offer an ABET-accredited BS degree in engineering, with a focus on experiential learning and project-based education.
About the Job
We are seeking a Visiting Professor of Engineering to join our faculty for a one-year, non-renewable position. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate engineering courses in the areas of introduction to engineering, statics, mechanics, circuits, and/or engineering management. The position will be ten-month, non-renewable, non-tenure track.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate engineering courses in the areas of introduction to engineering, statics, mechanics, circuits, and/or engineering management
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students
- Advise and mentor students in their academic and professional development
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
Qualifications
- Doctorate in engineering or a closely related field
- Potential to emerge as an agile and adaptive educator
Conditions of Employment
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check
