KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

TECHNOLOGY STACK

This position is part of a specialized unit within our Global Card Network Platform, where you will engage with the following technologies:

  • Proficient use of Go (Golang) as the primary programming language.
  • Development and deployment within Docker containers, primarily orchestrated on Kubernetes clusters.
  • System monitoring utilizing tools such as Prometheus, Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, and Jaeger.
  • Implementation of HTTP/2 REST, gRPC, and Kafka protocols.
  • Management of configurations and secrets through open-source solutions like Consul and Vault.
  • Utilization of modern data storage solutions including Redis, Couchbase, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience with Go (Golang) or a comparable programming language, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Practical experience in developing distributed microservices, with familiarity in Service Mesh technologies being advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker.
  • Background in designing and building cloud-native applications; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems is beneficial.
  • Understanding the complexities of distributed systems and best practices for creating highly available platforms.
  • A foundational knowledge of TCP/IP is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Experience in a DevOps environment and agile Scrum teams.
  • Strong communication skills with a commitment to transparency and a passion for learning and optimizing new technologies.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
