We are a leading wealth management firm, Transcend Practice Management, seeking a highly skilled Financial Paraplanner to join our team. As a Paraplanner, you will play a critical role in supporting our advisors in delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to our advisors, including gathering and organizing supporting documentation and assisting with preparation for client meetings.
- Participate in planning meetings, translate discussions into action items, and drive financial planning efforts.
- Prepare financial performance reports using various software applications, keeping meticulous records of interactions and plan progress.
- Assist with retirement planning integration and service, sending, receiving, and processing client documents and communications.
- Own the implementation of client planning strategies, staying current on trends in the financial planning area, and recommending new or updated tools and resources.
- CFP designation required
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required
- Life and Variable Insurance license
- Series 7 preferred
- 3-5 years as a Paraplanner; 5-7 years in the wealth planning industry
- Tax return, trading, and insurance experience; broad product knowledge and familiarity with estate planning
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Strong computer desktop skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of CRM Systems and Emoney competency preferred
- Organized, excellent follow-through, and orientation towards people
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
