Certification Requirements:
  • Mandatory ASCP Cytotechnologist certification.
  • Required credentials include ASCP-CT and a Florida license.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is necessary (exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons).
Job Overview:
  • Proficiency in all Fine Needle Aspiration techniques is essential, including Robotic-assisted Endoscopy, EUS, and EBUS guided procedures, as well as CT and US guided techniques.
  • Recent completion of the PAP-PT exam is required, with the ability to screen GYN cases.
  • The Cytotechnologist position is available for immediate start.
  • Client Offering: Cytotechnologist role.
  • Required Skills: Experience in mounting procedures, microscopy, ThinPrep, and various fluid collections, including Bronchial, Esophageal, Gastric, Spinal, and Urine samples; expertise in staining and immediate evaluations.
  • The Cytology department is engaged in Rapid On-Site Evaluations across CT, US, IR, and Endoscopy, including EBUS, EUS, and Monarch-Robotic assisted Endoscopy procedures; experience in screening both GYN and Non-GYN cases is necessary; familiarity with community hospital settings is required; experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • First-time applicants will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • National certifications required: ASCP-CT and Florida license.
  • Special Conditions: Experience in community hospital settings is essential; Cerner EMR experience is preferred; COVID-19 vaccination is required (exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons).
Schedule Information:
  • Shift: 5 days a week, 08:00-16:30.
  • No weekend shifts required.
  • No on-call duties expected.
  • No floating to sister facilities required.
  • Possibility of accommodating block scheduling to be discussed during the interview.
  • Guaranteed hours will apply after the first call-off per pay period.

  • No RTO restrictions in the contract; RTO may be discussed during the interview if applicable.
