Metal Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Concord Awning, a leading designer and fabricator of custom awnings and canopies in New England. The successful candidate will have excellent welding and fabrication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet high standards.

The salary for this role is $20-28 per hour, based on proficiency. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and paid holidays.

In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating custom metal components, welding frames, and performing field work with experienced staff. You will also assist in installing and servicing products, working on site in outdoor weather conditions. Frequently, you will lift, install, and secure products, occasionally driving company vehicles to customer sites within New England.

To succeed in this position, you must have:

• 1 year MIG (TIG welding a plus) experience
• Proficiency in use of power hand tools and measuring equipment
• Strong math skills and fraction to decimal conversions
• Problem-solving skills
• Comfortable on ladders
• Ability to lift 50 pounds above your head
• Safety focused
• OSHA 10 certification a plus
• Residential construction experience a plus
• Valid driver's license with good driving record - copy of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
