About the Role

The Head Horticulturist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of gardening at Historic Elk Rock Gardens. This includes managing a team of volunteers, maintaining garden equipment, and implementing sustainable gardening practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of volunteers and coordinate their activities
  • Monitor plant health and implement pest control measures
  • Develop and maintain landscaping designs to enhance the garden's beauty and functionality
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to achieve organizational goals

We offer a competitive salary of $52,000-$57,000 depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.
