Job Summary

Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store, and as they approach the front end. Provide prompt and courteous service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Sales and Inventory Management: Accurately and efficiently operate the register, be knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements, and assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, and merchandising product.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a neat and organized front end work area, assist with recovering the store, and complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
  • Communication: Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary, and maintain the cleanliness of the overall store.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of six months' retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business is helpful.
  • Skills: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis, ability to read, write, and speak English, and ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds, and ability to stand for extended periods.
