3D CAD Designer/Drafter

Job Summary
Pfaudler Inc is seeking a highly skilled 3D CAD Designer/Drafter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in 3D solid modeling design and be proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and draft engineered-to-order projects involving highly corrosion resistant pressure equipment.
- Work from detailed order specifications to convert customer requirements into detailed engineering specifications, including drawings.
- Create typical component fabrication and machining drawings.
- Collaborate with Product Engineers to ensure designs meet customer requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
- A.A.S. degree in a Technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in 3D solid modeling using SolidWorks and 2D design drafting using AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with ASME Code.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
The work environment is generally performed in an office and safe/factory environment. The noise level is usually under 80 db. Position requires infrequent, local travel. Work over 40 hours per week is occasionally required.
Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand. The employee occasionally required to walk, sit or reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
