Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required.

Requirements

  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Minimum of two years of current X-Ray Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program.
  • Active unencumbered Radiology Tech California state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
  • ARRT Certification.
