About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Specialist to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on our innovative product suite, including Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Thermogravimetric Analysis, and Laser Flash instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Support: Provide exceptional customer service, training, and technical support to customers in the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences, Chemical Materials, Clinical, Food, Environmental, Forensics, Academia, and Government industries.
  • Instrument Repair and Maintenance: Repair, install, and maintain all currently supported instrument models and accessories, including calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, logs, and documentation of service and repair activities, including service reports for input to the product reliability report.
  • Communication and Sales: Establish and maintain prompt professional communications with customers and internal resources, and provide information to customers regarding service products and offerings.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or other science-related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and/or end-user utilization of scientific instrumentation, preferably with TA Instruments' product suite.
  • Competencies: Strong customer focus, interpersonal savvy, personal sense of integrity and trust, ability to work independently, effective time management skills, system-level approach to problem-solving, analytical approach, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel Requirements
  • A clean driving license and a valid passport are required.
  • This is a territory-based position with traveling within your designated territory, and occasional overnight travel may be required.
