As a Maintenance Assistant at Genesis Healthcare Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nursing center and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, and electrical equipment.
- Change filters on HVAC equipment and perform other routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Carry, lift, and stock supplies as required.
- Assume Maintenance Supervisor responsibilities in their absence.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
- A competitive hourly rate of $21.00.
