Job Title: Blown Film Helper

Anchor Packaging is a leading manufacturer of disposable food service packaging, seeking a Blown Film Helper to join our team at our Marmaduke Plant in Northeastern Arkansas.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual to assist our Blown Film Operator in the production of high-quality rolls of film. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Blown Film Line, assisting with screen changes, and ensuring the safe and efficient production of film.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Blown Film Operator in operating the Blown Film Line, ensuring the production of high-quality film.
  • Assist with screen changes, including threading the line, changing dull blades, and lacing the bubble.
  • Set up the winder to product specifications, including safe disposal of used blades.
  • Regularly check for correct roll widths and straight, smooth roll edges, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Log production data into the Zontec system and weigh every 3rd set of film.
  • Core tag and properly package/palletize all production for traceability and product safety.
  • Assist the Operator in separating the sheet, clearing wrap-ups, pulling and cleaning dies, screws, elbows, and other tasks as required.
  • Responsible for overall safety of the work area and assist others to work safely.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months-related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Basic data entry computer skills needed.
