Job Title: Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team at Georgia Pines. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to individuals with mental health needs.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position with benefits.
  • You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide counseling services to individuals and groups.
  • You will assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote optimal mental health outcomes.
  • 80% of services are expected to be provided in clients' homes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Eligibility to be licensed is also necessary.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

The selected applicant will have the pleasure of counseling with emphasis on prevention and/or behavior modification. In addition to working with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health, they may help individuals deal with addictions and substance abuse, family, parenting, and marital problems, suicide, stress management, problems with self-esteem, and issues associated with aging, mental and emotional health.
