The Float Pool Team plays a vital role in supporting all inpatient units across our facilities. While the majority of shifts will be in Greeley, our team members may also work at other locations. Candidates with experience in Labor & Delivery are preferred, as the roles will involve working in L&D, Post-Partum, or MedSurg units. Night shifts are available.
Position Overview:
This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients, adhering to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by oneself or those under their supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Collaborate with patients and families to ensure thorough evaluations.
2. Develop individualized care plans, including discharge strategies, based on assessment data and input from patients, families, and the healthcare team. Ensure goals are realistic and measurable.
3. Implement care plans through direct patient care and by coordinating and supervising the healthcare team’s activities. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
4. Evaluate patients' and families' responses to care and education, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, plans, implementations, and evaluations in patient records, ensuring compliance with policy.
