Executive Director

As the Executive Director - Assisted Living, you will be responsible for leading the overall operation of the assisted living neighborhood at Access Star. This role requires a strong leader who can recruit, hire, train, and coach a high-quality team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Partner with the leadership team to ensure the community is in compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Assist the executive director in completing the annual community budget and manage the department budget to include labor and other expenses.
- Establish and maintain timely, open, and effective communication with residents and family members to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Build, develop, and effectively manage staff to optimize individual and team performance through effective leadership, mentoring, and training.
- Assure the implementation of resident care services and vibrant programs to achieve the delivery of quality personal care and supportive services to residents.
- Develop a plan to achieve the financial goals set for the facility and implement education and in-service training to staff.
- Assist new employees in following facility policies and procedures and implement and review individual service plans (care plans) per regulations.
- Assess potential or new residents and assist with admission and discharge process.
- Complete or assure that new hire, yearly training, and evaluations are completed.
- Answer business phones, tour inquiring residents, and answer call bells and respond to alarms.
- Make any necessary reporting to the Administrator, local, and state agency.
