Job Summary:

  • This role is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of parent support, family engagement, and children's programming across Maryland.
  • The Support Group Coordinator will serve as the Lead Coordinator and Technical Assistance provider for Maryland's Chapter of the Circle of Parents National.
  • This position requires staff supervision and the development and maintenance of program sites and affiliations statewide.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff and provide technical assistance to program sites and affiliates.
  • Develop and maintain program sites and affiliations statewide.
  • Implement parent support, family engagement, and children's programming across Maryland.
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote program services and outreach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences required.
  • Master's degree in behavioral sciences preferred.
  • 3 years' experience working in human or social services.
  • 1 year experience working directly with families or children in community or group settings.
  • 1 year supervisory or administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of child development and parenting skills building.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to travel to various program sites and communities.
