Las responsabilidades del Especialista en Apoyo Educativo incluyen:
- Preparar y entregar planes de lecciones, con la capacidad de modificarlos según sea necesario durante el año escolar.
- Diferenciar la instrucción para satisfacer las necesidades de todos los estudiantes.
- Mantener registros precisos y completos del progreso y desarrollo de los estudiantes.
- Utilizar prácticas basadas en investigaciones en la planificación diaria y la instrucción en el aula.
- Gestionar el comportamiento de los estudiantes en el aula.
- Crear un ambiente de aula positivo para el aprendizaje.
- Utilizar un currículo aprobado por la escuela que refleje los diversos antecedentes educativos, culturales y lingüísticos de los estudiantes.
- Implementar las expectativas y normas culturales de la escuela.
- Comunicar y reunirse con las familias sobre el crecimiento académico y social-emocional de sus hijos.
- Incorporar habilidades tecnológicas en la práctica diaria del aula para apoyar el aprendizaje.
- Participar en la planificación e implementación de actividades no instructivas, según sea necesario.
- Colaborar y comunicarse de manera efectiva con colegas.
- Realizar otras tareas según se asignen.
Acerca de Ti:
- Licencia de enseñanza activa y vigente del estado de Ohio en el área de contenido correspondiente.
- Título universitario en educación o campo relacionado.
- Alto nivel de comodidad trabajando en un entorno de coaching enfocado en el crecimiento, basado en observaciones frecuentes, debriefs, planificación de acciones y monitoreo del progreso.
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal.
- Capacidad para manejar información confidencial adecuadamente.
- Capacidad para supervisar estudiantes de diversas edades en diferentes entornos escolares (patio de recreo, cafetería, etc.).
- Capacidad para aprobar verificaciones de antecedentes criminales federales y estatales.
- Experiencia trabajando en un entorno urbano.
