Job Title: Strategic Planner

Rigid Tactical is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planner to support a unique joint staff planning need focused on integrating and synchronizing Department of Defense (DoD) military activities with United States Government (USG) strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and synchronize Communication strategies and plans to achieve desired end states.
  • Provide subject matter expertise input during the drafting of Key Leader Engagement (KLE) policies.
  • Design and manage KLE management tools, including data tracking and strategic messaging content.
  • Support the development of Communication initiatives or strategies, including themes, narratives, and key audience identification.
  • Track key themes and messages from USG leaders to ensure Concept Plans and OPLANs communication efforts are synchronized with USG strategic messaging.
  • Integrate Communication plans, operations, and assessments across Public Affairs, Information Operations, and Key Leader Engagement disciplines.
  • Coordinate with USCENTCOM directorates to align communication efforts in support of designated plans.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on topics within the scope of the task order.
  • Update Annex Y: Commander's Communication Strategy for CONPLANs, OPLANs, and OPORDs.
  • Coordinate FOIAs and MDRs according to legal standards.
