Job Summary

PepsiCo North America Beverages is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for product merchandising within large volume stores, ensuring that our products are displayed and stocked in a visually appealing and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts
  • Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf to maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Transport products to and from the backroom to shelf location using equipment such as U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts to drive sales and increase brand awareness
  • Keep backroom stock in neat and orderly condition to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management to ensure prompt resolution
  • Build customer relationships at the store level to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction
  • Comply with operating procedures such as scan-in/scan-out and following designated routes
  • Service accounts during designated times established by management to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Deliver customer service by communicating effectively, building rapport, and being attentive to customer needs
  • Use handheld devices to write/input orders and manage inventory
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable)
  • Must have a car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Proof of insurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working for a retail business or grocery store (e.g., understanding store operations, knowing the backroom and inventory, stocking aisles and shelves, etc.)
  • Moving products within a store (e.g., safely stacking and moving products on equipment such as a u-boat, hand truck/dolly and/or breakdown, etc.)
  • Merchandising products (e.g., filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive, rotating products, cleaning shelves, eliminating out of stocks and out of date products, etc.)
  • Managing backroom/stock room inventory (e.g., organizing pallets, stacking and storing inventory or products, etc.)
  • Serving customers (handling customer complaints, responding to customer requests, or meeting customer needs)
