Position Overview

Compensation: $16.75 per hour

Work Schedule: Part-time, 2 PM - 10 PM, with varying shifts throughout the week, including rotating weekends and holidays.

The Resident Care Assistant plays a vital role in providing support to our residents, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. Responsibilities include:
  • Responding to emergency situations and calls as needed.
  • Documenting and reporting on care provided and resident observations.
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including personal grooming, hygiene, bathing, and maintaining their living spaces.
  • Taking vital signs, heights, and weights as required.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
  • A warm smile, a willingness to learn, and a genuine compassion for our residents.
  • For candidates under 18, proper schoolwork authorization is necessary.
  • Completion of all state educational requirements; CPR certification is preferred.
  • First Aid certification and training in the Heimlich Maneuver may be provided by the company.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Experience working with the elderly, especially in memory care, is highly valued.
