We are seeking a highly skilled Recovery Specialist Supervisor to join our team at Gandara Mental Health Center, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and clinical skills to supervise direct care staff and support clients in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support direct care staff to ensure high-quality care and services to clients.
- Conduct regular bi-weekly supervision meetings with staff to discuss client progress, address concerns, and provide feedback.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing advocacy, support, and guidance to promote their recovery and well-being.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and Clinical Director to enhance the quality of services and continuity of care.
- Participate in all staff meetings, supervisions, case conferences, and training to maximize the quality of our service.
- Complete all paperwork responsibilities, including case notes, timesheets, schedules, and incident reports, in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a human services field or four years' experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or mental health conditions in a residential, outreach, inpatient, or outpatient setting.
- Past supervisory experience is required.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and ability to meet agency driving requirements.
- Bi-lingual and/or bi-cultural preferred.
