Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab America. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover functional abilities and independence after surgery, injury, or medical crisis.

Job Summary

The Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing and treating patients with diverse needs. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' level of function in areas including strength, endurance, and Activities of Daily Living.
  • Develop and revise individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient response to treatment.
  • Participate in patient care conferences and family conferences as scheduled through the Program Supervisor.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, Technicians, students, and volunteers in direct and indirect patient care.
Qualifications:
  • At least one year's experience practicing occupational therapy in a hospital or Home Health setting.
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the A.M.A. in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association or its equivalent.
  • Currently licensed by the state of Tennessee as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Current State Driver's License.
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance according to company policy.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we also provide a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
