About Our Hospice Care Team

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our hospice care team at Abode Hospice and Home Health. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes, supporting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Assist with ambulation and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Document care provided and report any changes or concerns to the case manager
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Minimum of six months experience in hospice care or a related field
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care provided
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision and maintain confidentiality
