Golden Corral is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a key member of our food production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality meat products are prepared and presented to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Cut meat according to product specifications and time standards to optimize profit and guest satisfaction.
- Implement and follow the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
- Rotate cut and boxed meat to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination.
- Stock and arrange the Meat Cooler in accordance with approved food safety guidelines.
- Sanitize all surfaces between production of chicken and other meats to prevent cross-contamination.
- Recognize and remove spoiled meat to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Clean and sanitize the meat room according to cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
- Comply with local health department laws and regulations.
- Use administration forms to maintain an accurate inventory of meat products and determine production levels.
- Notify the Manager of any discrepancies in product or equipment.
- Perform opening and closing administrative procedures to ensure seamless operations.
- Properly maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
- Complete duty roster tasks as assigned.
