The VCA Animal Hospitals, a prominent name in veterinary specialty care, is in search of a board-certified or residency/fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist or General Surgeon to enhance our esteemed practice.

As part of a nationwide network of veterinary specialty medicine facilities, VCA Animal Hospitals is recognized for excellence in Small Animal Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Critical Care, and Medical and Radiation Oncology. We are excited to expand our surgical services to meet the growing demand.

Our facility currently employs a team of five boarded veterinary oncologists, managing a surgical caseload that typically exceeds 300 cases annually, not including additional soft tissue surgeries from our Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, and Cardiology departments. This is a unique opportunity to build a surgical caseload primarily based on in-house referrals.

Due to our success, we are in the process of developing a new, state-of-the-art facility to accommodate our expanding services. This new location will feature 23,000 square feet of advanced medical space, designed to support a comprehensive surgical department tailored to your specifications, including necessary equipment for orthopedic case management.

VCA Animal Hospitals is proud to offer Varian True Beam Radiation Therapy with Rapid Arc capabilities, making us a premier destination for advanced radiation therapy options for pets. This technology is frequently utilized for both pre and post-operative care. Additionally, we provide conventional and advanced chemotherapy, electrochemotherapy, and actively participate in national clinical trials in oncology and internal medicine.
