Continuous Improvement Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Continuous Improvement Fabricator to join our team at Reading Truck. As a key member of our Continuous Improvement and Operation Teams, you will collaborate on various improvement projects, fabricate and build required equipment or fixtures, and assist in the building or positioning of these items on the floor.

• Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement and Operation Teams to support improvement projects
• Fabricate and build required equipment or fixtures as needed
• Assist in the building or positioning of these items on the floor
• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to work in all fields, including electrical, plumbing, welding, and others
• Maintain assignment task lists and reports on progress regularly
• Maintain an orderly and safe work area using 5S principles
• Support building and production groups in 5S, Continuous Improvement, and manufacturing engineering projects
• Identify opportunities for increased reliability, improved process flows, and reduced cycle times to meet RTB targets
• Support the CI team in completing 30, 60, and 90-day items, preparing for Kaizen events and Blitz's

• 5S / Lean background
• Some fabrication knowledge or understanding is a plus
