Job Overview

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a dedicated CT/C-arm Technologist to become a vital part of our flexible team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel to various outpatient facilities, collaborating with a diverse group of professionals, including Radiologists, while enhancing your technical skills. We are open to providing training for those interested in expanding their expertise in CT technology. This position is primarily full-time, with an option for part-time hours (30-39 hours per week) and is eligible for benefits. The schedule includes Monday to Friday day shifts, with occasional weekend rotations (no on-call duties). Additional compensation for travel and differential pay is available for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

(80%) Patient Imaging

  • Conducts standard and advanced CT imaging procedures on specified body areas to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Evaluates patients prior to examinations for any safety concerns or contraindications.
  • Prepares patients for CT or diagnostic and therapeutic injection (DTI) procedures, explaining the process, positioning them correctly for optimal imaging, and providing support throughout the procedure.
  • Generates high-quality diagnostic images and performs assigned quality control tasks.
  • Adjusts imaging parameters appropriately, employing dose reduction techniques as necessary.
  • Engages with medical staff, patients, and their families as needed.
  • Adheres strictly to physician directives and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and colleagues.
  • Fosters positive relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and fellow team members.
  • Maintains accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Keeps the work environment organized and hygienic to promote safety for patients and staff.
  • Ensures compliance with ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.

(15%) Imaging Support

  • Ensures imaging equipment is well-maintained; performs cleaning and disinfection after each use.
  • Assists in updating the radiographic protocol manual.
  • Monitors and manages medical supply inventory.
  • Contributes to the training of new team members, offering guidance and technical support.

(5%) Additional Duties
