We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Instrument Assembler to join our team at Waters Corporation. As an Electromechanical Instrument Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing a variety of mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical instruments and sub-assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test instruments and sub-assemblies according to established procedures and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electronic test devices to assemble and conduct preliminary tests on small assemblies.
- Work independently and as part of a team to accomplish goals and meet deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and repair sub-assemblies and instruments as needed.
- Participate in Lean process improvement programs to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in electromechanical assembly and testing.
- Ability to read blueprints, follow written procedures and drawings, and verbal instructions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
