PRN Emergency Medicine Physician

As a PRN Physician in Emergency Medicine at Intermountain Health, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing quality care and exceptional patient experience. You will work at St. James Healthcare, a Level 4 Trauma Center in Butte, MT, and enjoy a competitive daily rate, all travel and lodging expenses covered, and medical malpractice insurance. **Requirements:**
* MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
* Residency training in Emergency, Family, or Internal Medicine
* Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
* Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
* Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

Butte, MT is a beautiful city nestled on the Western side of the Rocky Mountains in Southwest Montana. Our local population is just over 35,000, with our service area reaching over 90,000 Montanans. Butte is listed on the National Registry of Historic Districts and offers a range of outdoor activities, including sports fishing and hunting. St. James Healthcare is a 98-bed Level III Trauma Center that has provided care in Southwest Montana and the surrounding area since 1881. We have Life Flight services available to receive and transport patients as needed and offer comprehensive, specialty care, including da Vinci Robotics surgery.
**Physical Requirements:**
This position requires a high level of physical and mental stamina, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift, carry, and move patients and equipment as needed, and be able to work in a variety of settings, including emergency departments, operating rooms, and patient care units.
