Responsibilities
This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans for patients with complex medical needs. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care strategies while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines. Effective communication with patients and their families is essential in this position. Additionally, you will oversee the care delivered by licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants, participate in clinical team conferences, and adhere to hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a current license as a registered nurse in the state of practice and hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or within 60 days. A graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is also required. Registered Nurses employed by certain hospitals as of specific dates are exempt from the requirement of completing a BSN degree within four years. However, all other candidates must fulfill this requirement unless they have a minimum of fifteen years of proven continuous registered nurse experience in an acute care setting.
