We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Inpatient Gyne Onc department at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with our medical staff, and contribute to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide direct clinical care to patients.
- Collaborate with our medical staff to ensure seamless patient care, including rounding on patients, seeing new consult visits, and assisting in surgery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and education to enhance patient outcomes and advance our clinical expertise.
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and staff, and serve as a mentor to graduate students and new staff members.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of Illinois.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an inpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
