Radiology Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologst PRN to join our team at Oviedo Medical Center. As a valued member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology. Your expertise will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe operation of our radiographic equipment.

Your Responsibilities- Perform all duties of a Radiology Technologist, applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology, and oversee the general operation of the department as assigned.
- Regulate the equipment used to expose radiographic images and utilize PACS to ensure efficient image processing.
- Provide patient care during imaging procedures, establishing and maintaining a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required.
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Vocational School Graduate.
