About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier at Alpine Bakery & Pizzeria. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience in our bakery and pizzeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and promote a positive team culture.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Availability to work a fixed schedule, with some flexibility required.
