Position Details- Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
- Discipline: RN
- Employment Type: Travel
- Duration: 6 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Shift Length: 8 hours
Shift: Variable, starting from 7 AM to 1 PM, 8x5 schedule, totaling 40 hours per week.
On-Call Requirements: One night per week for 4 out of 6 weeks, with a 30-minute response time for weekday calls. Weekend on-call every 5th weekend.
QualificationsEssential Requirements:
- Valid Wisconsin RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience
- Recent hospital experience required, with a focus on post-cardiac and pediatric care
- AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Experience with electronic charting; Epic experience preferred
Skillset: Post-recovery PACU with a patient ratio of 1:2, accommodating approximately 35 patients daily.
Unit Overview: Primary cases include general, spine, neuro, GI, ENT, cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic surgeries. The unit also stabilizes ICU patients prior to transfer.

Please note that all compensation rates are estimates based on qualifications and experience. Weekly gross pay is applicable to travel positions located more than 50 miles from the candidate's permanent address.
