Job Title: Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist to join our team in Waco, Texas.

Job Description:
  • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit

  • Shift: 12 hours, nights

We are currently working with a client in Waco, TX who is looking for a Travel CCU RN - Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse.

As a Travel Nurse RN ICU Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Supervise the care provided by professional and ancillary personnel
  • Implement the nursing plan, coordinate with the medical plan, and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate professionalism through quality of care, leadership, and continued professional growth and development
  • Implement quality assurance endeavors through and with the nursing team

Requirements:

  • Current State License
  • Minimum of one-year experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospital within the last three years required
  • Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment required
  • CCRN preferred
  • Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ER medical/surgical patients is preferred
  • Associate's Degree or BSN required
