Job Title: Air Compressor Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Air Compressor Technician to join our team at SnellingProSearch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for traveling to customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs on company equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the sales staff in servicing company equipment
  • Installing new equipment at customer sites
  • Performing preventive annual and semiannual maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and service of equipment for customers at the customer site
  • Carefully and accurately documenting all service performed on the equipment as well as what service needs are to be accomplished on the equipment in the future
  • Maintaining excellent customer service and customer satisfaction
  • Preparing timesheets, service reports and installation forms, timely and accurately
  • Accurately tracking expenses and completing expense reports in a timely manner
  • Communicating with customers to troubleshoot their needs
  • Ability to work overtime as required by workload and customer necessity

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years experience in field
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Critical thinking skills
  • Preference for compressed air
  • Valid License and Good Driving record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient in reading and comprehending technical information as presented in equipment manuals or in electronic media
  • Ability to accurately document technical data in terms of the steps taken to resolve equipment and product issues
  • Ability to communicate technical issues as well as the steps taken to resolve those issues with the company corporate office
  • Proven customer service skills with a primary focus on customer relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Resourceful; able to discern who to call for assistance based on the technical situation at hand
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work alone with own tools, but company can furnish
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
