Patient Safety Observer

As a Patient Safety Observer Per Diem, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at Holy Family Hospital. You will provide observation and support to patients who require close monitoring, assisting with activities such as ambulation, mobilization, and meal preparation. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with healthcare teams will be essential in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide observation and support to patients who require close monitoring
- Assist with patient ambulation and mobilization activities
- Prepare patient meal trays and assist with meal delivery
- Communicate patient information and needs to licensed staff and other team members
- Document patient information and activities on the Hand off Communication Tool
- High School graduate or equivalent
- BLS certification required
