Metro Industrial Services is seeking skilled Fabrication Specialists to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on precision and quality in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Production Supervisor in managing the operational flow of the manufacturing line while adhering to company protocols.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on the production line.
  • Collaborate on shift scheduling, including workstation assignments and employee development.
  • Assist in the management of production initiations, terminations, and transitions.
  • Offer programming support to the Engineering team as required.
  • Ensure quality assurance through effective welding programming and the development of welding and laser/camera programs.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to power supplies, welding programs, controllers, and tooling fixtures.
  • Conduct repairs involving pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and programming aspects.
  • Make informed decisions regarding rework versus scrap materials.
  • Engage with vendors as necessary for operational needs.
  • Work closely with Engineering to enhance production cell functionality and address repairs.
  • Complete scheduled process audits to maintain quality standards.
Compensation: $50,000 annually
Work Schedule:
3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
