Position Title: Loan Processor
Location: Pittsburg, PA
Contract Duration: 4 months
Compensation: $31.50/hr.
Role Summary:
The Loan Processor is responsible for the meticulous preparation and examination of documentation for various loan types, including mortgages and loans secured by financial instruments.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience is required, along with 2-4 years of experience in credit card, mortgage, and security loan processing.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient understanding of commercial loan documentation, including collateral instruments such as Mortgages and UCCs.
- Familiarity with lending compliance regulations (Reg. Z, RESPA, Truth in Lending, Reg. B, HMDA).
- Competence in business desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Windows, Visio).
- Strong command of English language, including grammar, spelling, and vocabulary, along with knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform mathematical calculations or analyses.
- Skilled in organizing and prioritizing tasks, coordinating the workflow of others.
- Commitment to staying updated on procedures, products, and activities relevant to the assigned area.
- Proficient in proofreading documents accurately.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledgeable about loan and revolving credit terms and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of documentation for commercial loans, including the creation of new loan checklists.
- Maintenance of accounts across various systems.
- Tracking of vehicle titles and maintenance of insurance tracking reports.
- Collaboration with portfolio managers and custody agents.
- Quality assurance of commercial loan documentation.
- Communication with applicants, clients, staff, and third parties (such as attorneys, closing agents, and vendors) to address inquiries and resolve issues.
