About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Professional Development Generalist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our nursing education team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing professional development programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and evaluate high-quality educational activities, programs, or projects for staff at all stages of their career development.
  • Analyze cost and anticipated return on investment for learning activities, programs, or projects.
  • Engage stakeholders and resources in the planning and implementation of lifelong learning activities for individuals and/or groups of learners.
  • Measure program outcomes in terms of learning change, impact, and professional role competency.
  • Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices in collaboration with others to ensure alignment with organizational goals and mission.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 3 years of relevant experience, with 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Emergency experience preferred.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan upon hire required.
  • Board Certified Nursing Professional Development (BC-NPD) - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center preferred.
  • Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS INSTR) - AHA American Heart Association preferred.
