Dreammaker Bath & Kitchen is currently seeking a Carpenter's Helper to support our construction team. This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $18-$25 / hr based on experience.

• Tool Management: Maintain possession of essential tools necessary for job tasks.
• Work Schedule: Review the daily agenda as outlined by the lead carpenter.
• Documentation: Accurately complete and submit daily logs, time cards, and photographic evidence of work.
• Work Orders: Follow directives from the lead carpenter regarding assigned tasks.
• Punctuality: Arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
• Meetings: Participate in regular meetings to strategize upcoming work.
• Client Interaction: Engage with property owners respectfully and courteously at all times.
• Career Development: Exhibit proficiency in various tasks to advance to a Lead Carpenter role.
• Preparation and Cleanup:
  • Prepare job sites and ensure thorough cleanup afterward.
  • Utilize drop cloths and protective coverings for furniture.
  • Assist in moving furniture as required.
  • Set up dust barriers and organize tools and materials for daily tasks.
  • Disassemble job setups at the end of the day, ensuring tools are stored and the area is clean.
• Job Completion: Ensure all tasks are completed according to specifications unless changes are approved.
• Site Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the job site at the end of each workday and upon project completion.
• Safety Protocols: Immediately report any incidents or accidents to the lead carpenter.
• Professional Appearance: Uphold a neat appearance and adhere to company dress standards.
• Start Time: Typically, the workday begins at 7:30 am, subject to adjustments based on project needs.
• Warehouse Assistance: Provide support with tasks in the shop and warehouse.
• Vehicle Upkeep: Ensure work vehicles are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Warranty Services: Carry out warranty-related tasks as needed.
• Expense Reporting: Submit receipts for any company-related purchases.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least two years in a construction-related role.
• Trade Experience: Familiarity with residential trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, countertops, drywall, tile, and flooring.
• Construction Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction principles.
• Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in MS Office and mobile applications.
