This position offers a balanced schedule of 15 days on the road followed by 3 days off, allowing you to enjoy quality time at home while fulfilling your driving responsibilities.

Primary Duties:

  • Safely maneuver a tractor-trailer to deliver goods throughout the Midsouth region.
  • Comply with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, clients, and team members to guarantee timely freight delivery.
  • Accurately log electronic records (ELDs) for cargo, routes, and driving hours.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight.
  • Manage time efficiently to adhere to delivery schedules and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Class A CDL.
  • A minimum of 6 months of recent, verifiable experience driving a tractor-trailer.
  • Clean driving history with no significant violations in the last three years.
  • Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards.
