Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Aegis Therapies is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Emanuel Medical Center - Swainsboro, GA. As a rehabilitation specialist, you will work with patients to develop and implement personalized therapy plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement occupational therapy plans for patients in a skilled nursing facility setting

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services

Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for daily living and mobility

Requirements:

Current license as an Occupational Therapist or ability to obtain in the state of practice

Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
