Job Summary:

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team in a full-time evening shift position. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with prescribed standards and under the guidance of a supervising Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners and other imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and imaging quality.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, or advanced certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R), or registered by the ARRT in CT if less than one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Advanced certification by the ARRT in CT is preferred.
  • BLS certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months of experience as a CT Technologist.
