We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Tax Manager to lead our property tax management operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our property tax portfolio, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, and developing strategic tax planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date property tax records and databases.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of property tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of property tax management with other business functions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to team members on property tax-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property tax management, preferably in the mortgage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of property tax laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant technology.
