Join our team to support the oversight and management of the U.S. Government's Terrorist Watchlist, also known as the Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB), alongside other national security watchlists. This role is integral to a multi-agency organization that collaborates with various federal entities including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of State (DOS), Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Visa Review and Revocation (VRR) process, ensuring thorough screening and identity resolution for visa, refugee, and U.S. Passport applicants against the watchlist.
  • Provide analytical support for initial visa applications and potential revocation of previously issued visas.
  • Focus on identity resolution and intelligence coordination regarding encounters with national security threat actors, both within the organization and with external multi-agency partners.
  • Conduct comprehensive searches across various database systems to gather relevant data on specific subjects, ensuring adherence to quality assurance and data integrity protocols for electronic systems.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in identity resolution and intelligence coordination concerning national security threats.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to advise and guide executive management on sensitive issues, including the preparation of formal and informal reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience demonstrating:


o A solid understanding of management and organizational principles, including administrative practices and procedures relevant to various responsibilities.


o Proficiency in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify and resolve procedural or factual issues.


o Expertise in qualitative and quantitative analytical methods, including literature searches, task analysis, productivity assessments, and statistical measures.


  • Extensive knowledge in one or more of the following areas: watchlisting, identity analysis, intelligence, law enforcement, U.S. military, or national security (including counterterrorism and counterintelligence).
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with experience in conducting interviews to gather information about organizational missions and work procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
