Job Summary:

The Biologist will support the validation of Client therapeutic candidates by performing hands-on, bench-level assays involving cell culture and tissue-based work, as well as sample processing and analyses from in vivo animal studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support cell culture platform work, including iPSC-derived cells.
  • Perform molecular biology and cell biology assays, including DNA/RNA extraction, qRT-PCR, and ELISA.
  • Help manage in vivo studies conducted with CROs and academic collaborators, including shipment coordination and sample inventory management.
  • Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks, write study reports, and present data to the team.
  • Critically assess data generated from diverse experimental approaches in cell and molecular biology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of work experience in academia or industry.
  • Experience in generating and working with iPSC-derived cells, disease models strongly desired.
  • Expertise in basic techniques in molecular biology and cell biology, assay development in cell lines, primary neurons, and iPSC-derived cells.
  • Good understanding and experience working with AAVs preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative scientific environment.
  • Neuroscience background preferred, but not required.
