Occupational Therapist PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist PRN to join our team at StoneSprings Hospital Center. As an Occupational Therapist PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
  • Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status.
  • Participate in patient placement and in the development of the total plan of care.
  • Provide purposeful and skilled interaction care.
  • Use procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physicians plan of care.
  • Observe and report patients reaction to treatment and changes in patients condition.
  • Communicate pertinent payor needs/requirements to physician, treatment team, patient and patients family in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • NICU experience Required.
  • Occupational Therapy (OT).
  • Bachelors Degree.
