Job Description

Liberty STEAM Charter School is seeking a highly qualified and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our scholars and contributing to the success of our school community.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Build strong relationships with scholars, families, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Academy Director to improve instructional and leadership skills
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education
  • Utilize data to drive instruction and make data-driven decisions
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • South Carolina certification in multicategorical special education, early childhood, or elementary education
  • Two years of teaching experience preferred
  • Strong instructional and classroom management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
