Restaurant Porter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team at Whataburger. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our restaurants, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a clean and safe environment: Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant, including floors, walls, and restrooms.
• Perform janitorial tasks: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and empty trash and recycling receptacles.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment: Use industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors and stock bathrooms.
• Maintain a positive working relationship: Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude towards management and coworkers, and maintain effective communication.
• Work in a team environment: Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent: Required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Physical ability: Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods of time.
